I’M GOING TO GUATEMALA AND OTHER UPDATES

The answer to the question everyone has been asking: where am I headed next? When am I going?

I’M GOING TO GUATEMALA TUESDAY!

Well, you read that right! It is time for me to go off on another mission trip. This time, to a place new to me but not new to our ministries at Adventures in Missions. I am headed to our Missions Base in Guatemala. Here we minister to the many people of the nation and have full time missionaries on the ground.

God has been planting seeds of Guatemala into conversations and work requests over the last few months. It just seems fitting to coordinate a trip to participate in the ministry happening there. Now that summer and fall have come and gone, the timing is right for me to take off for a few weeks.

I will be flying out early on November 7th and start my journey home on November 17th.

During my time there I hope to help with base operations, partnering with the Gap Year participants that will be there, creating a ministry site video, collecting stories of what God is doing within the ministry and community there and reconnecting with one of my World Race pals, Jackie! I am so pleased that God is aligning our time to overlap in Guatemala so we can partner in ministry again.

In other news, I launched my book on NOVEMBER 1ST! My Kingdom Journey is available for purchase in all formats: paperback, hardcover and e-book on Amazon!

You can get your copy by going to the following link:

If you decide to read it, please let me know! I would love to hear your feedback and takeaways from my story of journeying with God around the world. Additionally, I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it if you could take a moment to leave it a review or star rating right there on Amazon. This drastically helps improve the opportunity for others to see my book in their suggested reads on Amazon.

Finally, in my free time between now and Christmas I will be substitute teaching in my local school district where I used to be a teacher. This is such a beautiful opportunity to reconnect with past students and maintain some of those positive relationships. I will also be starting a Sunday Night Volleyball program for a few of the local churches to participate in.

I love having the opportunity to stay connected with so many in my community! God has been so good to me in this transition season and I am so thankful.

If you’re interested in learning how you can partner with the work I am doing both locally or abroad, or how you could go on a trip with me, PLEASE REACH OUT! I would love to connect with you further!

Lots of love and gratitude!

  1. I’m praying for you as you are serving in Guatemala! Congrats on the book being published. It’s front and center on my coffee table. You have a gift for writing and communicating your experiences with God.
